I got this deflector for an HVAC unit mounted on the wall near the floor, that blew the air straight out at the level of a seated person. With the deflector mounted on the unit in front of the vent the air goes up, more comfortable. Just be careful to place the deflector exactly right. The adhesive is VERY sticky and cannot be adjusted after it meets the surface. With the hefty shipping charge it’s kind of expensive but effective if you have no other options for adjusting the airflow.
