Slide the damper into the diffuser and snap the damper into the inside edges of your diffuser using the metal cleats of the damper. Then, reinstall the bottom two fins of your diffuser. After that is done, remove the center cap from the bottom fin to access the damper control knob where a flathead screwdriver can be used to open and close the damper to regulate the airflow to your desired strength.
